Food: must get pork belly tacos. Only thing I had but I've been thinking about them since I took my last bite. Ambiance: lovely outdoor seating area! A little loud with the L going by but not unbearable. Service: no complaints!

Came for brunch and it was a cool interior, and the service was very quick. Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Steak and eggs: 4/5 The steak and eggs were 4/5 because I would have loved a bigger portion for the cost. The chips and guac were just ok, nothing to rave about and the margarita was "meh". I wasn't impressed at all for that to be a signature drink. Overall the experience was ok, not bad/ not great.

Dropped in for a late lunch without a reservation and was warmly greeted and then led to an open table. There were a few people, but it was not very busy. The waitress quickly took our drink orders and asked us if we had any questions. I ended up ordering the cochinita pibil flautas. The tacos that the other folks at my table ordered looked good and were made with homemade tortillas. I didn't sample, but both of my dining colleagues said that they were very good. The flautas came out presented very nicely, and came with a knife and fork which is a bit interesting for flautas since I usually eat them with my hands. Overall, the service was good and the food was excellent. The bar inside is huge, and this is a great place to come for drinks and food.

We went there for brunch and it was a very nice atmosphere with a cool interior and they had the March madness game on. I got the mushroom skillet and it was very delicious. The polenta in this dish really made it unique and creamy and I enjoyed it. The coffee was very average but they did have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks that were tasty and fresh. They had many different brunch options and also taco options. I would definitely return here for a fun brunch with friends, or to get a drink.

It's literally steps away from a train stop. They have a great happy hour menu and lite bites. The bartender was polite, nice, and welcoming. I had a serrano pineapple margarita, tasted a lil spicy, with a kick. They dehydrate their own dried pineapple for garnishes. Make their own tajin inspired powder. The gauc was interesting, it was topped with cucumbers too, maybe they do that here up north. It was limey and creamy, but not spicy. The salsa was tasty, smokey and had a creamy consistency too. I would recommend having the chicken tinga tacos, juicy shredded chicken and carnitas. The suadero, brisket taco was a bit dry and lacking in favor. All in all a good spot for drinks, and some lite bites.

WE'RE BACK, BABY, and of course, Bar Takito NEVER disappoints! Being in a relationship where both parties have full time jobs, Valentine's Day is always celebrated the weekend before! We secured a brunch reservation at 11, which is right when Bar Takito opens. We arrived a little early, not realizing at the time that we were the first reservation of the day. Rather than have us wait in the cold, the staff was kind enough to let us come inside and warm up! Alejandro was our server and he was AWESOME! Very attentive and was happy to give us his recs (I have trouble choosing, since I am so loyal to my French toast- LOL!). The meal, as always, was fantastic. A favorite starter for us is the Salsa Trio! We had finished our chips, we still had salsa left, so I asked a server assistant if we could have some to-go cups! Instead, he was SO KIND as to bring back a brand new trio of salsas, packed to-go! I did not get this gentleman's name, but he made our day! Thanks again, Bar Takito!
